(ANSA) - ROME, APR 2 - There has, is and will be a constant
and determined commitment by the government to improve quality
of life and inclusion for autistic persons, Premier Giorgia
Meloni said on World Autism Day Sunday.
"Today is World Autism Awareness Day, established in 2007 by the
United Nations to promote greater attention towards people with
autism spectrum disorder," said the premier.
"For this occasion, the facade of Palazzo Chigi (seat of the
premier's office) will be lit up in blue, from sunset today to
6am tomorrow.
"It is a small gesture of closeness to the families,
associations and operators who, with commitment and much love,
face important challenges every day".
Meloni announced the allocation of 77 million euros to improve
the quality of life of people with autism spectrum disorder and
develop projects for inclusion and full participation in daily
