(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 9 - Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni has
condemned the political violence that erupted in Brazil when
supporters of the ex-president Jair Bolsonaro who refuse to
accept the election of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva
stormed institutional buildings.
"We cannot be indifferent to what is happening in Brazil,"
Meloni said via Twitter.
"The images of the raid on institutional offices are
unacceptable and incompatible with any form of democratic
dissent.
"It is urgent for normality to be restored and we express our
solidarity with the Brazilian institutions'. (ANSA).
