(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 23 - ANSA news agency now has a page in
English on its ANSA Science and Technology channel.
The page, accessible from the hope page of the channel dedicated
to scientific information and research, provides an
international showcase for Italian research.
"This is a unique and very important opportunity for Italian
science to inform, document and directly disseminate its
activities to the broad international public interested in
science," said Giorgio Parisi, Nobel Laureate in physics and
vice president of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, one of the
world's oldest scientific academies.
The science channel aims to give visibility to Italian
scientific activity in multiple fields, also in consideration of
the unprecedented resources available to science under the
National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr).
The page in English is also an opportunity to highlight Italy's
participation in major European programmes such as the new
Horizon Europe framework programme, the earth observation
programme Copernicus and the Galileo satellite navigation system
and the Einstein Telescope. (ANSA).
