(see related) (ANSA) - ROME, MAR 30 - Democratic Party (PD) leader Elly Schlein said Thursday that the uncertainty about Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) shows that Premier Giorgia Meloni's claim that her alliance was ready for power when it won the September 25 election was false.
    "They said they were ready, but they don't seem that ready to us," Schlein told a rally in Trieste, referring to the NRRP.
    "This great opportunity must not be wasted.
    "There are already delays, which is the government is trying to blame on the previous government and even on the European Union.
    "We have asked Minister Fitto to report to parliament.
    "It is a question of national interest.
    "We are on Italy's side". (ANSA).
