(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 27 - Monday saw the fourth murder in a
Rome drug turf war in just over a month when a 54-year-old Roman
with a long criminal record was hit in the chest by two shots in
his home at Torpignattara in the east of the Italian capital.
The victim, Andrea Fiore, police said, was a close friend of
Luigi Finizio, a Neapolitan Camorra mafia linked Roman shot dead
by two men on a scooter at a petrol station in the same area on
March 13.
The other murders, on March 10, 8 and February 22, include
another Neapolitan and a Romanian.
The spree started when a Puglian PR man nosedived off an
apartmen block in the Magliana area in the south of Rome.
